Reverie LED

Light therapy that works while you rest

LED Light Therapy has evolved far beyond its place in traditional beauty clinics, and with Reverie LED, you can now use multiple wavelengths at once, in one self-guided session.

What was once primarily associated with anti-ageing treatments is now being used more broadly to support skin health, inflammation, recovery, pain, sleep, and nervous system regulation.

At Reverie, we wanted to approach LED differently.

Not as a rushed add-on treatment, but as a simple, restorative wellness ritual designed to support both the skin and body in a way that feels achievable within everyday life.

Different wavelengths, different support

LED Light Therapy works by delivering therapeutic wavelengths of light into the skin and tissue. Different wavelengths are associated with different forms of support.

Red Light

Often used to support collagen production, skin rejuvenation, circulation, recovery, and pain modulation, red light is one of the most widely researched wavelengths in LED therapy.

Beyond skin health, red and near infrared light are increasingly being used to support inflammation reduction, muscle recovery, nervous system regulation, and recovery processes within the body.

Many people also incorporate red light therapy into evening wellness routines to help support relaxation, sleep quality, and recovery after periods of stress or overstimulation. Some studies have also explored its potential role in supporting migraine management and tension-related discomfort through its effects on inflammation, circulation, and nervous system calming.

Near Infrared

Works deeper within the tissue than traditional visible light wavelengths and is commonly used to support recovery, inflammation reduction, healing, and pain management.

Near infrared light is increasingly being explored for its role in supporting muscle recovery, joint discomfort, circulation, and nervous system regulation, particularly during periods of stress, fatigue, physical recovery, or chronic tension.

Because near infrared works beneath the surface of the skin, many people incorporate it into wellness routines focused not only on recovery, but also on calming the body, supporting sleep quality, and assisting the nervous system in shifting into a more restorative state.

Blue Light

Often used to support acne-prone and congested skin by helping target acne-causing bacteria and excess oil activity. Blue light can also assist in calming inflammation and redness, making it beneficial for some reactive skin conditions, including rosacea.

Yellow Light

Often used to support redness, reactive skin, circulation, and skin brightening, while also offering calming support for sensitive or inflamed skin.

Yellow light is commonly associated with improving overall skin clarity and supporting lymphatic flow and circulation, making it popular for dull, tired, or stressed skin.

It’s also frequently used for clients experiencing redness-prone or reactive skin conditions, as it offers a gentler wavelength that can help support skin calmness while still contributing to overall skin rejuvenation.

Many people also find yellow light treatments feel particularly soothing and restorative, especially during periods where the skin or nervous system feels overwhelmed or sensitised.

Why multiple wavelengths matter

Traditionally, many LED systems focus on one wavelength at a time, often requiring multiple treatments across the week to target different concerns separately.

One treatment for acne.
Another for inflammation.
Another for skin rejuvenation.
Another for recovery.

But the reality is that many skin and wellness concerns rarely exist in isolation.

Take acne, for example:

Blue Light (415nm) is commonly used to help target acne-causing bacteria and excess oil activity. But while that may support active breakouts, it doesn’t necessarily address the inflammation, skin sensitivity, post-inflammatory redness, or collagen support that often accompany acne-prone skin.

That’s why our Reverie LED presets combine multiple wavelengths within the one treatment.

Alongside Blue Light, we incorporate wavelengths such as Yellow Light (590nm) to help calm redness and inflammation, and Red Light (633nm) to support skin recovery, collagen production, and overall skin integrity.

The result is a more layered and supportive treatment approach designed to address the skin more holistically, rather than focusing on a single concern alone.

Our Reverie LED system is designed to deliver multiple therapeutic wavelengths simultaneously, allowing the skin and body to receive layered support within the one session.

This means treatments can support skin rejuvenation, inflammation, recovery, sleep, and nervous system regulation all at once, rather than needing to approach each concern separately.

Reverie LED Presets

Our Reverie LED system includes four carefully designed preset options, allowing guests to tailor their session depending on what support their body or skin may need that day.

Skin Immunity and Glow

Utilising Red Light (633nm), Near Infrared Light (830nm), and Yellow Light (590nm), this preset is designed to support skin rejuvenation, circulation, post-treatment recovery, and overall skin health while also offering restorative nervous system support.

Best used:

  • morning or afternoon
  • before events
  • after invasive skin treatments
  • during periods of fatigue or dullness

This preset is ideal when the skin needs support, brightness, recovery, or an overall healthy glow.

For general maintenance, we recommend 1 session weekly. During periods of stress, fatigue, post-treatment recovery, or pre-event preparation, 2 sessions weekly may offer more noticeable support and consistency.

Inflammation Care and Antibacterial

Combining Blue Light (415nm), Yellow Light (590nm), and Red Light (633nm), this preset focuses on calming inflamed, reactive, acne-prone, or redness-prone skin while supporting overall skin recovery and barrier function.

Best used:

  • afternoon or evening
  • during active breakouts or flare-ups
  • after exercise or sweating
  • consistently during inflammatory skin periods

This setting is particularly supportive when the skin feels congested, reactive, inflamed, or stressed.

For active flare-ups, acne, or periods of heightened inflammation, we often recommend 2 sessions weekly. Once the skin feels calmer and more regulated, many guests transition to weekly maintenance sessions for ongoing support.

Nervous System, Sleep and Pain Relief

Using predominantly Red Light (633nm) and Near Infrared Light (830nm), this preset is designed to support recovery, nervous system regulation, inflammation reduction, muscle recovery, migraines, tension, and sleep support.

Best used:

  • evening or before bed
  • after physically or emotionally demanding days
  • during periods of stress, poor sleep, migraines, or nervous system overload

Many guests incorporate this preset into their nighttime routine as a way to help the body transition into a calmer, more restorative state.

During periods of stress, burnout, poor sleep, migraines, or physical recovery, 2 sessions weekly may feel particularly supportive. For ongoing nervous system and recovery support, many guests maintain consistency with 1 session weekly.

Brighten and Recover

Blending Yellow Light (590nm), Red Light (633nm), and Near Infrared Light (830nm), this preset supports circulation, pigmentation, skin brightness, recovery, and tired or stressed skin while offering a gentle restorative treatment experience.

Best used:

  • morning or early afternoon
  • after travel
  • during periods of fatigue or dullness
  • when the skin or body feels heavy, tired, or sluggish

This setting is designed to feel both revitalising and restorative, making it ideal for moments where you want to support circulation, brightness, and overall recovery.

For ongoing skin brightness and circulation support, we recommend 1 session weekly. During periods of travel, stress, dullness, or recovery, increasing to 2 sessions weekly may help support more visible results and overall restoration.

To assist with inflammation and pain.
To help calm the nervous system before sleep.
Or simply to create a quiet moment to pause and reset.

At Reverie, we see LED as both skin support and nervous system support.
